Teacher Resources

Energize your teaching—and your students

As an arts instructor, you understand how creative exploration opens minds and provides inventive frameworks for learning and expression. Keeping it fresh can be a challenge—and we all need a jolt of energy and ideas from time to time. In Watkins Community Education programs, you can work with our professors and your fellow educators to recharge your creative drive.

Advance your academic credentials

Our rigorous, two-year terminal-degree master’s programs are designed for you, the working professional. Both the MFA in visual arts and the MFA in film production are taught on a flexible schedule with all core courses meeting during evenings and weekends.

Both programs are grounded in research and immersive explorations of relevant media and toolkits. Learn more about the MFA in visual arts and the MFA in film production.

Advising your best and brightest

We don’t have to sell you on the qualities that art schools impart—innovative thinking, technological savvy, curiosity, empathy, self-starting discipline, and the ability to manifest a creative vision—all in high demand with top employers. Our job is to give you the tools to help your students determine if they are ready for all that Watkins offers.
